Follow these procedures at least once a week.

1. Make sure that the lace unit is well combed and free of any tangles. When the brushing hair, do not start at the top of the hair. When brushing, brush from the bottom in small sections and work your way to the top by holding small section of the hair to prevent pulling the hair from the weft. Once hair is tangle free, follow the washing procedures below.

2. Wet the hair with warm water in a downward motion (from the top towards the end of the wig.)

3. Apply shampoo for designed specifically for remy human hair. Do not massage the shampoo but apply it by finger combing the shampoo through the hair in a downward motion.

4. Rinse the lace unit completely with warm water in a downward motion.

5. Use of conditioner is very important. Apply conditioner designed specifically for remy human hair. Gently finger comb the conditioner through the wig in a downward motion (from the top towards the end of the wig) then let the conditioner sit for 7 to 10 minutes.

6. Thoroughly rinse the wig with warm water in a downward motion throughly rinsing all the conditioner out of the wig.

7. Gently towel-blot the wig to remove excess water.

8. To prevent shedding, lightly blow dry the inside of the wif (this is to ensure that the hair knots are completely dry so they do not unravel).

9. To retain wavy look, apply light hair polish by massaging and bunching the hair in a upward motion and let air dry. If waves or curls loosen, it is best to apply a lightweight heat protection to the web hair, blow dry the hair, straighten the hair using a ceramic flat iron, and then re-curl the hair using a curling iron.

10. For straight look, first apply a lightweight heat protector to the web hair then blow dry straight in a vertical motion and straighten using a ceramic flat iron or let air dry and style as desired.

We strongly recommend using an Argan oil to maintain your hair. Argan oil will reduce frizz, fix split ends and add lustrous shine. It helps make the hair softer, healthier, easier to manage and reduce tangles. We recommend using a reputable brand such as Moroccan Argan Oil.

Things Not To Do On A Lace Wig

Do not use excessive amounts of hair products on the wig. This is 100% remy human hair and does not require a lot of products. In fact, the more products that are applied to the hair, such as creams, gels, or oil sheens, the less desirable the hair will appear.

Do not use oil sheen. Oil sheen is alcohol based and will dry out the hair.

Do not brush excessively. This is a handmade product. If brushed or combed roughly, shedding will occur.

Do not soak the wig overnight in any solution. Soaking the wig will cause the knots to loosen thus causing shedding.
